Why do I need a Fruit Infuser?

With the modern diet, we often do not acquire enough nutrients that our body needs. Even most of the water that is available to us is deprived of essential nutrients. This is where the Fruit Infuser comes in handy! With this fruit and/or vegetable loaded bottle, you can be sure that you and your family are replenishing your bodies with nutrients throughout the day... without the extra calories or refined sugar!

How long should I soak the fruits and vegetables for before I can drink the water?

It would be good to infuse the fruits and vegetables for about 1 to 2 hours in room temperature. If you like more of a fruity flavour, you may soak the fruits for another hour or two but we do not recommend leaving the fruits in the water for more than 4 hours.

How long does my infused water last?

Unlike the juice you would buy on the market, infused water is meant to be consumed fresh because it would not contain any preservatives. It is recommended to make your infused water fresh each day.

My infused water tastes bitter!

You may have added citrus peels into your Fruit Infuser. Next time, cut off the rind or simply do not infuse it in the water for too long.

What kind of water should I add to my Fruit Infuser?

Not tap water. It would be best for you to use purified clean water. Otherwise, you would be drinking all the water pollutants. Please use cold or room temperature water. Although boiling hot water gives you a ready-to-drink infused water right away, Vitamin C and other temperature sensitive nutrients can be destroyed.

If I do not drink my infused water right away, what should I do with it?

If you leave it in room temperature for over 4 or 5 hours on a hot sunny day, you would risk having bacteria growing in your bottle! So if you do not plan on drinking your infused water within that period, put the bottle in the fridge!
